Will smiled and shampoos his hair as well

Soon we were out of the shower. Both of us clean and dried off. I went to his bedroom and changed into my pjs. Which were a tank top and shorts.

Once they were out of the shower Will pulled on some sweats, "You wanna join me outside while I cook some steaks?"

"Sure. I'd love too." I said. I grabbed my sweater and put it on.

Will smiled softly and kissed her. He went downstairs and gathered the ingredients and headed to his grill.

I kept pace with him as we went down to the grill. Lucky for us we were vampires and could stomach it being a little bit rarer then humans.

Will started up the grilled and grabbed a chair for Elizabeth to sit, "How would you like your steak cooked, little pink, no pink, or lots of pink?" he asked trying to put it in the simple terms being as she had never eaten steak.

"Cooked but still uncooked enough so there is still pink and some blood running when we cut them open." I replied as I sat down.

"Alright can do.." Will smiled over at her for a moment before he started to season the steak and putting it on the hot grill.

"I did watch cooking shows on the TV growing up. Seeing all the different kinds of food people made from different cultures. I just can't cook. Well rather don't know how to cook." I said to him as I watched.

Will looked at her with a small smile, "Would you like me to teach you what I know..after that you can start learning on your own.."

"Sure. I'd love that. It can be one of the things we do to have fun." I said.

I stood up and walked around. "So when do you want to plan the ceremony?" I asked curious.

Will smiled and flipped the steak over then looked at Elizabeth, "When ever you wish.." he smiled softly

"So then maybe in a month from now? So I can have time to move in with you..and perhaps you teach me how to use a sword or something?"

Will nodded, "Sounds good to me, hmm you with a sword now that sounds hot.." Will chuckled lightly and stuck her steak on her plate, "should be perfect.."

"Good. Then I'll just pack up my clothes tomorrow. When you take me back home while your on your shift." I said sitting in my chair again. I cut into the steak and popped a chunk in my mouth. "Oh..That is really good."

I cut the steak up more. "Hey. Is there like a leave time for newly mated males after the ceremony?" I asked curious.

Will placed his steak on a plate and turned the propane off and sat next to her. He smiled at her comment, "Good there is plenty more.." Will took a bite of his food and nodded, "Alright sounds good the sooner your here the better" He smiled

"I'm sure there is but I'll have to talk to the brotherhood about it, I'm not fully sure.."

"I just need to convince my Father I'm more needed here. Then at home with him." I said between bites.

"Well if you have trouble convincing him, then I'll make arrangements for you to stay at the brotherhood while I am on shifts or something.."

"Are you sure they would let you do that?" I asked him.

"I'm part of the brotherhood and I love you, I'm sure they'll have no issue if not then lets not talk about that.." he muttered the last part and finished off his food.

"Okay...Sorry." I said softly and continued eating.

"No you have no reason to be sorry.." Will smiled softly at her.

I just nodded and kept eating until my plate was empty. "Want to split the last one?"

"You can have it love.." Will sat it on her plate.

"Really...I just want half of it." I said honestly.
