Wishing For a Better Place

(I'm assuming that mermaids are supernatural)
Arianna (Ari for short) is a mermaid and lives under the sea. Her whole life she's dreamed of going on land. The king (her father) has banned any merfolk from going anywhere near the surface. She can't help but sneak up to shore everyday, its her dream.
Yes I know its a lot like the little mermaid but you don't actually have to try to make it like the movie.

Since I haven't roleplayed in awhile I figured everyone can pick whatever character they want (as long as it works with the rp) you can be a friend, you can be her dad, you could be an evil sea witch haha whatever you want
